Description

This role is responsible for managing the organization’s payroll processes, ensuring accurate and timely payment of salaries, compliance with government regulations, and maintaining employee payroll records. This role requires a strong understanding of payroll procedures and best practices, as well as excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

At the Senior level of these positions may:

Handle escalated or more complex issues
Coordinate team activities or those of agency contract staff
Support supervisor or manager activities
Support the design, review and implementation of processes and procedures

What you will do:

  • Liaise with Payroll outsourcing vendor ensure timely delivery of services in line with payroll cycles and accurate payment to the employees.
  • Participate in regular service/ production call with the Payroll Outsourcing vendor.
  • Accurately process and reconcile payroll data for employees on a timely basis, ensuring compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.
  • Process payroll adjustments, including bonuses, commissions, and overtime, accurately reflecting these changes in payroll calculations.
  • Prepare the relevant journal entries and execute the reports related to payroll.
  • Month-end closing activities: Review the payroll journal entries, reconcile payroll, statutory contribution, Compensation tax and C&B accrual versus what recorded in Oracle Financial Cloud system.
  • Act as the key point of contact and support for local, regional, and global Payroll taxation & statutory contribution matters.
  • Respond promptly to payroll-related inquiries from employees, addressing concerns and providing assistance as needed.
  • Stay updated on changes in payroll laws and regulations to ensure compliance and minimize risk for the organization.
  • Assist in the implementation of new payroll software or systems, providing input on functionality and participating in user testing and training initiatives.
  • Prepare data and document for internal, external and tax audits.
  • Ensure all documentations related to Payroll/ Accounting, including tax withholdings, deductions, and benefits information are stored as per the retention rules.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


You'll be a great fit if you have:

Strong knowledge of payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

Familiarity with payroll tax laws and employment regulations.

Excellent analytical, problem solving and time management skills.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

High level of discretion and professionalism for handling sensitive information.

Experiences:

Three (3) years of related work experience.

Well understanding of Tax’s policies and procedures.

Working experience in Express & Transportation service field is preferable.
