This is an interview position.
GENERAL SUMMARY
To sell FedEx Services to both 'new' and 'existing' customers (primary focus: net ‘new’ potential in excess of $199/day average net International revenue and/or $397/day average net domestic revenue.) with the key deliverable of achieving assigned revenue objectives (as measured and determined by FedEx). Acts as team lead and assists manager in
providing coaching/training/etc. to junior/new staff members and assumes responsibility for additional tasks/duties as assigned. Serves as project lead/SME on specific fiscal year initiatives as assigned by DSM and/or regional MD.
Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent
Sales - 3 years, commercial sales experience (business to business, transportation industry preferred) with two (2) years experience within Account Executive role
Microsoft Power Point - Basic
Microsoft Word - Basic
Microsoft Excel - Basic
Regular overnight travel required (5-10%)
Valid Class G driver’s license preferred
GRADE: 86
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Bachelor's degree or equivalent
Three (3) years of commercial sales experience (business to business, transportation industry preferred) with two (2) years experience within Account Executive role
Previous experience selling to large (Fortune 500) corporations preferred
Demonstrated basic level proficiency in MS Office: Outlook, Word, and Excel; standard level proficiency in PowerPoint
Promotes self-development through continuing education and enhancing knowledge of the competitive marketplace
Strong oral and written communication skills
Strong presentation, relationship, and negotiation skills
Demonstrated self-motivation with proven ability to work independently
