POSITION OVERVIEW:
Designs, codes, tests and deploys software in all layers of the development life cycle. Provides the necessary documentation. Works with databases, APIs, servers, networks and various programming languages.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Designs software code using multiple programming languages.
2. Tests newly developed software code.
3. Documents code per the Company's processes.
4. Communicates effectively with colleagues, managers, vendors, user focus groups and comments, and other stakeholders
5. Evaluates code to ensure it meets industry standards and is compatible with all hardware and software
6. Mentors those in less senior positions.
7. Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures.
8. Perform other duties as assigned.

The compensation listed reflects the pay range or rate of pay reasonably expected for this posted position at the posted location(s). If this opportunity includes multiple job levels, the pay information represents the minimum and maximum range for all levels. Actual pay is determined by job-related factors permitted by law and relevant to the position, such as experience, tenure, market level, pay at the location for this job, performance, schedule, and work assignment. Pay Range: $93,851.00 - $180,195.00 per year
Colorado Pay Ranges: Springfield $93,851 - $150,162; Colorado Springs, Grand Junction $100,421 - $160,674; Henderson, Mead $106,052 - $169,683; Gypsum $112,622 - $180,195
Illinois Pay Ranges: East Moline, Effingham, Kankakee, Lincoln, Quincy, Rockford $100,421 - $160,674; Aurora, Bolingbrook, Chicago Heights, Des Plaines, Elmhurst, Forest View, Joliet, Schaumburg, Summit-Argo, Zion $112,622 - $180,195
New York Pay Ranges: Plattsburgh, Buffalo, Watertown, North Chili, East Syracuse, Nichols $100,421 - $160,674; Nichols $106,052 - $169,683; Bethpage, Montgomery, West Babylon $112,622 - $180,195
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's Degree/equivalent in computer science, engineering, or information systems and/or directly related work experience
- Seven (7) years’ work experience in information technology or engineering. A related advanced degree may offset some of the related work experience requirements.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong programming skills
- Proven computer/coding skills in multiple languages
- Leadership, analytical, problem solving, time management, organizational and interpersonal skills
- Good presentation skills and ability to handle multiple projects
- Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with professionals from a range of technical and non-technical backgrounds
