Sales Strategy & Data Intelligence Advisor
This position supports the Global Sales Organization by assisting in the development of strategic plans and business processes using data science and business intelligence technologies. The role focuses on implementing effective sales strategies to meet company objectives by transforming complex data into actionable insights and supporting performance modeling and reporting.
Primary Responsibilities
- Employ data science tools and techniques (e.g., SAS, SQL, VB.net, R, Python) to extract and build meaningful insights from multiple data sources.
- Act as a subject matter expert in defining datasets and collaborate with cross-functional and IT departments.
- Write and interpret complex queries to support strategic planning, reporting, and problem-solving for GSO.
- Communicate analytical results using business intelligence tools such as Tableau, Spotfire, and Excel.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of sales compensation and performance models to evaluate incentive programs against actual sales data.
- Review and analyze current business processes and reports; streamline reporting and recommend enhancements.
- Prioritize business problems and lead investigations into multiple data sources to solve complex challenges.
- Ensure sales-related activities align with established standards and methodologies.
- Develop and implement additional projects as assigned.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
- Minimum of 4 years of directly related experience, preferably in the same industry and competitive marketing environment.

- Excellent analytical, planning, and organizational abilities.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
