AI/Data Center Industry Advisor

Description

Seeking a candidate with experience in vertical, product, or solutions marketing within the Technology, AI, Cloud, or Data Center infrastructure space. The ideal candidate will have expertise in solution strategy, product development, go-to-market planning, consultative sales, and technical solution support. They should be able to translate complex infrastructure capabilities into clear business value, strategic recommendations, and compelling customer-facing narratives while effectively engaging executive leadership and customers.
The AI/DC Industry Verticals Product Advisor serves as a trusted advisor to product managers and cross-functional teams, providing market insights, customer perspective, and strategic guidance to ensure alignment with business objectives and growth opportunities.

Essential Functions:

• Leverage expertise in AI, Data Center infrastructure, technology solutions, vertical marketing, and sales.
• Develop business cases, market analyses, ROI assessments, and strategic recommendations.
• Lead and influence global cross-functional teams to deliver initiatives on aggressive timelines.
• Assess customer and business requirements, identify gaps, and provide actionable solutions and recommendations.
• Establish strategic oversight for critical requirements to ensure performance, scalability, and business outcomes.
• Distill complex technical and business information into concise, compelling executive-level presentations.
• Advise product managers on market opportunities, customer needs, and industry trends.
• Influence product roadmaps and prioritization through market and competitive insights.
• Evaluate product performance and recommend enhancements based on data and customer feedback.
• Partner across engineering, design, operations, and data teams to drive solution development and execution.
• Support go-to-market planning and commercialization efforts for new products and solutions.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Experience

• 7+ years of experience in product management, industry solutions, vertical marketing, technology consulting, or related fields.
• Experience in AI, cloud, data center, or enterprise technology solutions preferred.
• Advanced degree may substitute for some experience.

• Deep understanding of B2B and B2C technology solutions, industry verticals, and customer needs.
• Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
• Excellent executive communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to bridge technical concepts with business strategy and customer value.

Location

This position will be hybrid in Memphis, TN, Pittsburgh, PA, or Plano, TX and candidates must live within a 50 mile radius. This position is hybrid, employees will be required to work at a FedEx Campus several times per week.

Minimum Education: 

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field or equivalent directly related experience.
Minimum Experience: 

7+ years in product management, industry verticals solutions, or related roles with a proven track record of insights impacting product outcomes. An advanced degree may substitute for experience.

• Advanced Strategic Thinking, Problem Solving, and analytical skills.
