Designs, specify and/or develop technical specifications for configuration, repair, operation and maintenance of airplanes, engines and component
Essential Functions
- Designing, specifying, and developing technical specifications for aircraft, engines, and components to ensure safety, reliability, and economic utilization while adhering to federal aviation regulations and manufacturers data.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Aircraft Engineer
Bachelor’s degree in engineering. Two (2) years of related experience in aircraft engineering.
Sr Aircraft Engineer
Bachelor’s degree in engineering. Five (5) years of related experience in aircraft engineering.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Strong analytical, communication and technical writing skills.
Preferred Qualifications: Engineering degree in any of the following disciplines: Aeronautical/Aeronautics Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Astronautical/Astronautics Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering
