Description

Performs advanced-level aircraft maintenance duties, including inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on various systems such as airframe, powerplant, and avionics, ensuring safety, reliability, and compliance with FAA regulations and company standards. As an FAA-certified A&P Technician, this role requires a thorough understanding of aircraft mechanics, systems, and avionics, along with strict adherence to safety and documentation procedures. The Aircraft Maintenance Technician ensures aircraft are maintained in optimal condition, minimizes downtime, and accurately records all maintenance activities while referencing approved publications and regulatory standards.

  • Based at Liège airport (Belgium)
  • Conducts scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, inspections, and troubleshooting on assigned aircraft to ensure safe and efficient operation.
  • Adheres strictly to FAA regulations, company policies, and industry best practices while performing maintenance tasks.
  • Interprets technical manuals, blueprints, schematics, and electronic systems to complete repairs and ensure airworthiness.
  • Collaborates with other technicians to resolve complex maintenance issues and participates in cross-training initiatives to stay updated on evolving technologies.
  • Maintains meticulous records of completed work, using approved documentation systems to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Participates in ongoing technical training to acquire and maintain mandatory certifications and expand skill sets.
  • Monitors inventory levels of tools, equipment, and parts, coordinating with procurement to prevent maintenance delays.
  • Communicates effectively with supervisors, peers, and operational teams to ensure maintenance schedules align with operational requirements.

What You Will Be Doing as (Aircraft Maintenance Technician)

  • Performing maintenance, inspections, and repairs on company aircraft in line with planned maintenance schedules to ensure airworthiness, compliance with regulations, and operational reliability.
  • Completing signed service and inspection records in accordance with FAA requirements and company procedures.
  • Preparing detailed defect reports and associated documentation to meet legal and safety standards.
  • Assisting in the preparation of aircraft for inspections, certifications, and tests to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Performing ad-hoc repairs, investigating, and rectifying aircraft defects to minimize downtime and ensure operational efficiency.

What You Bring With You as (Aircraft Maintenance Technician):

  • Your FAA A&P certification or equivalent vocational training, demonstrating expertise in aircraft maintenance and repair.
  • In-depth knowledge of the operation and use of aircraft maintenance tools, equipment, and troubleshooting systems.
  • Ability to handle and maneuver heavy aircraft components safely and efficiently.
  • Experience with basic sheet metal repairs, electrical troubleshooting, and working on various aircraft systems.
  • A valid driver’s license and flexibility to work in a dynamic, safety-focused environment.
