Airline Strategic Programs Sr. Analyst
Description
In this role, you will provide advanced level strategic and tactical support for the FedEx Airline domain, pushing business leaders to identify out-of-the-box opportunities that drive initiative progress and value. You will play a vital role in advancing the organization's strategies and initiatives to deliver value, ensuring that the right level of rigor and visibility is provided for desired outcomes. You will collaborate closely with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to brainstorm solutions and influence business decisions using a fact-based approach, take new ideas from concept to execution, and communicate with key stakeholders.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- Provide subject matter expertise on FedEx airline operations, including but not limited to network planning, aircraft maintenance and technical operations, fleet management, crew scheduling, and flight safety to improve efficiency and profitability.
- Develop strategic concepts, conduct quantitative analysis and present recommendations to executive leadership and internal stakeholders to gain feedback.
- Possess expert communication and presentation skills, quantitative, problem structuring, and solving skills.
- Prepare and deliver comprehensive detailed reports to key stakeholders and leadership, highlighting key metrics, successes, and areas for improvement.
- Be action-oriented with ability to follow up on feedback to ensure positive outcomes.
- Growth and flexibility mindset that can quickly adapt to change.

Minimum Education:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain management, economics, or a related discipline.
Minimum Experience:
4 years of experience in business operations, transportation, logistics or related fields.
Knowledge Skills:
- Knowledge of factors affecting FedEx domains and ability to perform fact-based data analysis.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking ability with time management and program management skills.
- Strong human relations, networking, and influencing skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work on multiple projects and initiatives from end-to-end (ideation and scoping through execution) to deliver maximum business outcomes.
- An entrepreneurial mindset, with ability to move forward with little guidance to make and defend strategic decisions.
