Analyst-Equipment Support
Description
POSITION OVERVIEW:
Assist with fleet equipment assessment process by utilizing analytical methods and tools to develop cost-effective solutions for current and future equipment needs. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to define and justify cost for equipment relocation, replacements and additions, and support equipment licensing and permitting.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Monitor trends in operational use of equipment and incorporate usage data into reports for analysis of future equipment allocation and distribution
Monitor and report equipment needs and requirements at the center, district and region level
Monitor and report Mileage/Usage reports for Unit specific permitting, and IRP (International Registration Plan) Weight charts.
Gather supporting data for equipment analysis plans5. Assist in the Linehaul Tractor Bid assignments/usage to control mileage and ensure maximum longevity of Linehaul equipment
7. Assist with coordination, monitoring, licensing, permitting and reporting on new equipment deliveries, relocation of existing equipment and discretionary moves
8. Perform equipment rental analysis on a weekly basis for distribution to Operations leadership
9. Assist in providing analysis for planning, developing and justifying fiscal equipment capital budget
10. Develop ad hoc reports as requested by leadership

Develop controls in regard to licensing and permitting process that ensure corporate compliance with state/local laws and regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience plus two (2) years data analysis experience
- Good analytical skills with the ability to review data, define issues and identify solutions
- Good time management, organizational and interpersonal skills
- Experienced with Microsoft Office, including but not limited to, Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as a collaborative team member
