AOD Data Science Advisor
Description
To project manage and oversee the conceptualization, planning, design, quality assurance, implementation and support of Air Operations data solutions. Provide service to multiple internal customers, such as: Air Operations, Air Safety, Quality Assurance, Aircraft Engineering, Aircraft Maintenance, Aircraft Materiel and Air Operations Application Support. Set strategy that leads to the transformation of Air Operations processes and tools to enable safety, operational and business excellence.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science or other related quantitative discipline. Master’s degree preferred. Seven (7) years’ experience in at least one of the following fields: Statistics, Modeling, Safety Risk Assessment, Human Factors Analysis, Systems Analysis and Design, Economic Analysis, Flight Performance Engineering/Analysis, Computer Hardware Design, Computer Software Capabilities and Applications, and/or Computer Programming. Two (2) years aviation-oriented experience preferred. Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills.
Minimum Education
Bachelors degree in a quantitative discipline required. Related experience may offset degree requirements and related education/degree may offset experience requirements.
Minimum Experience
Seven (7) years of experience in statistics, modeling, safety risk assessment, human factors analysis, systems analysis and design, economic analysis, flight performance engineering/analysis, computer hardware design, computer software capabilities and applications, and/or computer programming is required.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills.
Ability to oversees the conceptualization, planning, design, quality assurance, implementation and support of Air Operations data solutions.
Ability to collaborate with multiple internal customers, such as: Air Operations, Air Safety, Quality Assurance, Aircraft Engineering, Aircraft Maintenance, Aircraft Materiel and Air Operations Application Support.
Sills to set strategy that leads to the transformation of Air Operations processes and tools to enable safety, operational and business excellence.
Job Conditions
Some travel required.
