Application Architect

Description

Under limited supervision, define processes, and create project level architectures for specific applications. Working with business and data architects, evaluate products and projects to ensure congruency with strategic initiatives and industry trends. Provide technical advise to resolve production problems.

Requirements

Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or related field of study plus 3 years of experience in the job offered or 3 years of equivalent work experience in information technology or engineering environment. The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent * in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or related field of study plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or 5 years of equivalent work experience in information technology or engineering environment in lieu of a Master's degree plus 3 years of experience. The position requires experience with: Java; Angular; Redis; Microservices and event-driven architecture; Spring framework; and Pivotal Cloud Foundry. A related advanced degree may offset the related experience requirements. Position allows for telecommuting from home within commuting distance of Plano, TX.
