Application Architect

Description

Under limited supervision, define processes, and create project level architectures for specific applications. Working with business and data architects, evaluate products and projects to ensure congruency with strategic initiatives and industry trends. Provide technical advise to resolve production problems.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent* in computer science, engineering, information Systems plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or 5 years of equivalent work experience in information technology or engineering environment. The employer will alternatively accept a Master’s degree in computer science, engineering, information Systems plus 3 years of experience in the job offered or 3 years of equivalent work experience in information technology or engineering environment in lieu of a Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of experience. The position requires experience with: Java; Spring/Boot framework; Micro-Services Architecture; Application Dynamics Telemetry; CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment) using Cloud Bees; Splunk; Pivotal Cloud Foundry; and SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) Scrum leadership. A related advanced degree may offset the related experience requirements. Position allows for telecommuting from home within commuting distance of Coraopolis, PA.
