This is an interview position.



Perform duties related to the processing of simple low value (LVS) shipments in accordance with the Canadian Customs regulations and legislation making the determination of which one of three generic harmonized codes can be used.

Process information for clearance of LVS shipments for customers who have designated Federal Express as their broker and for those who do not have a broker. Transmit customs LVS entry information for clearance within service standard time frames. Performs data entry of information required for LVS or HVS clearance using data from commercial invoices or customer database and types into a clearance system.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED

High school diploma or GED

In the province of Quebec, must be bilingual (English and French).

Good mathematical and computer aptitude preferred

Excel-Basic

Minimum of 25 wpm on data entry alpha numeric testing preferred

Excel - Basic - Preferred
