Assoc Security Specialist
Description
Provides security oversight and asset protection within the assigned location, serving as a key member of the operations organization with a problem-solving mindset. Conducts security assessments, maintaining security case loads, updating security information management systems, and ensuring compliance with regulatory items.
Essential Functions
- Assists the effort to provide risk mitigation efficiently and effectively and provides security oversight and asset protection (people, assets, brand) within the assigned location.
- Serves as a key member of the operations organization with a mindset to solve problems.
- Provides comprehensive security services to assigned location(s), coordinates and communicates with others as needed, including: peers, management, legal and other internal resources, and external resources, including law enforcement.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education
Bachelor's degree/equivalent.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Strong interpersonal communication, writing skills, and an inquisitive mindset. Knowledge of Microsoft based computer programs and the ability to prepare detailed reports.
Job Conditions
Non-covered safety sensitive position; ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner. If required to carry a firearm as part of job duties, subject to random drug testing. Works in an industrial environment and must adhere to all safety considerations. Travel may be necessary.
