Business Analyst
Description
Under general supervision, interacts with business partners and/or it staff to gather and document information related to requirements and/or software testing.
Essential Functions
- Analyze current business processes, workflows, and operational procedures, translating them into system requirements and software deliverables.
- Program Management for Architecture work at Enterprise and Solution Delivery levels
- Develop, maintain, and manage comprehensive project plans, timelines, schedules, and roadmaps to ensure timely and successful delivery of initiatives.
- Refine and update project scope, objectives, assumptions, risks, dependencies, and deliverables throughout the project lifecycle.
- Gather, validate, and analyze requirements from multiple sources; evaluate issues of low-to-medium complexity and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Coordinate with the Demand Governance team to anticipate upcoming work and proactively prepare architecture and project teams with required priorities, context, and resources.
- Develop and maintain documentation to reflect current and future-state processes and business rules.
- Identify impacted systems, integration points, and dependencies to support design, planning, and issue resolution.
- Drive architecture outcomes and ensure projects align with organizational Ways of Working, architectural best practices, and strategic objectives.
- Monitor and report on project performance, including milestones, risks, budget considerations, resource utilization, and overall health; deliver clear and concise status reports and executive presentations.
- Proactively identify risks, issues, and impediments; lead cross-functional efforts to resolve challenges and implement effective mitigation and contingency plans.
- Track and optimize resource allocation across projects to support operational efficiency and timely delivery.
- Facilitate clear and consistent communication with project teams, stakeholders, leadership, and clients to maintain alignment and manage expectations.
- Implement and continuously improve processes, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and best practices to enhance consistency, quality, and scalability.
- Ensure all project activities and outcomes remain aligned with business objectives and contribute to long-term organizational value.
- Perform other duties as assigned in support of departmental and organizational goals.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Knowledge of testing procedures and ability to recognize interdependent impacts.
- Strong communication skills required.
Minimum Education
Bachelor's Degree/Equivalent in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Systems and/or equivalent formal training.
Minimum Experience
Two (2) years equivalent work experience in information technology or engineering environment.
Domicile Information
This position can be domiciled anywhere in the United States. The ability to work remotely within the United States may be available based on business need.
