Job Description Summary:
- As a member of a sales team, the acquisition specialist is responsible for closing net-new business within a defined geographic territory (major and metro markets). Responsible for developing value propositions and customized pricing and closing business by positioning solutions to meet the customer’s needs.
Essential Functions:
- Closes new business opportunities by conducting background research on potential customers, discussing the customer’s supply chain with decision makers and other appropriate customer representatives, analyzing customer needs, and developing and implementing value propositions and customized pricing.
- Maintains regular and consistent communication with managers and sales representatives and peers within the Sales organization, related to joint sales call opportunities, lead generation, etc. in support of new/incremental revenue.
- Navigates internal, cross-functional processes to coordinate and collaborate on support and solutions with internal teams to provide a seamless and outstanding customer experience and close incremental business.
- Produces and presents both competitive and market-based pricing and customized strategic pricing to customers using mid to senior level negotiation skills.
- Collaborates with sales peers, marketing, finance, operations, and other areas as appropriate in identifying issues and developing/implementing solutions to support retention/growth of revenue.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education:
- Bachelor's degree/equivalent (Equivalency reflected under minimum experience)
Minimum Experience (in lieu of bachelor’s degree):
- Four (4) years of business-to-business sales experience OR two (2) years of the Company's business-to-business sales experience required.

Job Conditions:
- Moderate overnight travel required.
Preferred Qualifications: Ability to utilize technical and quantitative tools to correctly identify opportunities. Exhibit outstanding communication skills including verbal, written and listening to learn the customer’s business and leverage emerging technology and internal systems to drive compelling business proposition.
Pay Transparency:
Pay: $4,331.25/month - $8,187.50/ month
Additional Details: This is a customer-facing role that requires regular in‑person meetings. Candidates must live within a 50‑mile radius of Syracuse, NY or surrounding cities within the territory.
