Business Product Principal
Description
Act as a key leader for cross-functional Scrum development team(s) to deliver valuable product enhancements and integrations. Decomposes large requirements (value streams) into smaller requirements (epics). Provides information on current and future business architecture including business strategies, operating modules, organizational structure processes, and technology and information functionality. Assists in the integration of programs across channels with internal partners and manages program effectiveness against target metrics. Stays current on competitive trends/threads and identifies opportunities to beat market expectations. Builds and leverages solid working relations with business and product stakeholders, other product owners, and the architecture and strategy teams to facilitate the achievement of product strategy. Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent* in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Systems plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or 5 years equivalent work experience in information technology or engineering environment. The employer will alternatively accept a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Systems plus 3 years of experience in the job offered or 3 years equivalent work experience in information technology or engineering environment in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree plus 5 years of experience.
The position requires experience with: XML Analysis; SQL; API Integration Analysis; Agility (VersionOne); HP Application Lifecycle Management (ALM); Project Management; Requirement Gathering; Business Analysis. Communication skills. Position can telecommute from home from any location in the U.S.
