Summary:

Provide support and mentorship over reporting and analytics in support of Dataworks Portfolio Operations and Governance functions. Analyze data, identify trends and patterns, and provide insights that can help drive business decisions. Provides leadership in the evaluation of strategic objectives, and influences / supports decision making based on assessment of business trends and data analytics. Leads ongoing discussions with peer partners in other internal work groups on identified priorities supported with clear fact-based recommendations. Participates in cross-functional meetings and provides insight / guidance to peers / Managers / Directors in partner teams.

  • Able to effectively analyze data, identify trends and patterns, and provide insights that can help drive business decisions

  • Attention to detail, ensure data accuracy and reliability through validation and quality checks

  • Collaborate with diverse group of stakeholders to understand their data needs and effectively translate those needs into business requirements for reports and dashboards

  • Integrate and apply innovative data driven techniques and methods across the business and various functions to bridge business concerns, challenges and priorities to actionable, value-added insights, and effectively tell the story of data and reports

  • Exercise familiarity with and have the ability to query data, present and visualize data, perform data research and transformation and model development

  • Manage large data sets and complex queries to address a business that changes and grows rapidly to enable our leaders to forecast the future

  • Create and present research and data-driven insights to various audiences

  • Provide advanced analytics insights through technologically powered data visualizations

  • Create and own a plan for data storage, reporting and auditing by internal and external entities

  • Communicate complex data insights to non-technical audiences in a clear and concise manner

  • Strong strategic problem solver who has the ability to learn and understand our products and solutions and develop connectivity across key themes for senior level updates.

  • Ability to effectively operate within a fast pace, dynamic, complex and matrix organization

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with team members at all levels of the organization.

  • Ability to influence and build strong relationship across the organization

  • Experience in program management within a technical environment, ideally in areas such as eCommerce, software development, data science, cloud computing, etc. a plus

  • Experience in and familiarity with Microsoft Azure including AzureML or Python a plus

Minimum qualifications:

  • A Master’s degree in a quantitative business field or closely related technical specialized field of study with four (4) years related work experience.

  • Or a Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative business field or closely related technical specialized field of study with six (6) years related work experience.

  • Proven experience designing, developing and maintaining Power BI (or similar) reports and dashboards as well as performing data exploration, also including data curation, transformation and managing those associated datasets

Pay Transparency: This compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary range for this role across all potential locations. If this opportunity includes multiple job levels, the salary information represents the job level minimum and the job level maximum. Actual starting pay would be determined by experience relative to the job, market level, pay at the location for this job and other job-related factors permitted by law. An employee may be eligible for additional pay, premiums, or bonus potential. The Company offers eligible employees health, vision and dental insurance, retirement, and tuition reimbursement.

Pay: Annual Range $108,000-$135,000

Domicile Information: 

This position can be domiciled anywhere in the United States. The ability to work remotely within the United States may be available based on business need.

Minimum Education

A Master's degree in a quantitative business field or closely related technical specialized field of study with four (4) years related work experience. Or a Bachelor's degree in a quantitative business field or closely related technical specialized field of study with five to seven (5 - 7) years related work experience.

Minimum Experience

Work experience in functions focused on strategy development, competitive, customer, and industry analysis, market research, analysis of product performance, and support of corporate development / strategic value assessment activities. Demonstrated business acumen and experience of supporting strategic assessments that are transformational in nature including understanding the impact of technology trends on business. An advanced degree may offset experience requirements.

Strong communication and presentation skills, problem structuring & problem solving skillsStrong quantitative and analytical skills, including experience in databases, Business Intelligence tools, MS Office products and data modelingStrong human relations skills.
