CIL Account Manager
Description
Develops and maintains strong relationships between the operations, sales, and the customer through effective communications and issue resolution. Acts as Project Lead for customer initiatives and works with internal resources to meet customer objectives. Comfortable with demanding needs of HealthCare customers and the specialized use cases needed in their industry. Monitors and analyzes customer business metrics in areas of failures, successes and trends and acts as liaison between customer and 3PL operation.
Essential Functions
- Monitors and analyzes customer business metrics in areas of failures, successes and trends, using this information to achieve process improvement as well as to capitalize on incremental opportunities.
- Liaison with Healthcare customers on business requirements and defines controls for specialized needs- including temperature-controlled storage and transportation, kitting, repack, clinical trials logistics, and overall distribution of high-value product (including controlled)
- Understands and can speak to key quality topics pertinent to healthcare industry up to and including CEIV with understanding of baseline ISO 13485 and ISO 9001; familiar with CAPAs and the documentation necessary in satisfactory completion
- Manages customer demand by facilitating change management process to match outsourced CIL solution to customer needs
- Maintains a thorough and current understanding of FedEx solution offerings and value propositions.
- Leads monthly Customer Business Reviews with detailed quarterly recaps.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline.
Minimum Experience
Eight (8) years progressive related experience in a supply chain/logistics operations or warehouse environment with a focus in supporting healthcare customers; specifically in medical device, equipment, consumables, and / or clinical trials segments.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Demonstrated knowledge of supply chain management/logistics, transportation management & fulfillment operations in a high-demand healthcare customer environment.
- Experience in commanding and controlling high-impact customer conversations with a reasonable understanding of technical content.
- Demonstrated ability to provide clear and executable directions.
- Strong project management and planning skills.
- Excellent analytical, decision-making and organizational skills.
- Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills required.
- Demonstrated client relationship and management skills.
- Knowledge of the requirements for the high-tech and medical device industry vertical.
- Strong Microsoft Office and Power BI skills in data analytics
Job Conditions
Business travel required. May require prolonged standing or walking in both warehouse and office environment

Pay Transparency: This compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary range for this role across all potential locations. If this opportunity includes multiple job levels, the salary information represents the job level minimum and the job level maximum. Actual starting pay would be determined by experience relative to the job, market level, pay at the location for this job and other job-related factors permitted by law. An employee may be eligible for additional pay, premiums, or bonus potential. The Company offers eligible employees health, vision and dental insurance, retirement, and tuition reimbursement.
Pay: Memphis Pay Range: $7,488.36/month - $9,922.07/month
Additional Details: This position will be domiciled in Memphis, Tennessee.
