Clearance Broker with French
Description
As a Clearance Broker you will work closely with Customs to enable our on-time clearance and delivery. You will ensure checks and processes are completed that result in timely and effective processing of transactions and legal and regulatory compliance. In this position efficient, courteous, and professional communication and taking ownership of issues / requirements are key to the role

- Preparing customs entry documentation based on paperwork supplied with the shipment.
- Checking if all customs documentation is completed correctly.
- Contacting clients by email and phone to provide any missing or unclear information necessary to allow customs clearance.
- Ensure the correct identification and accurate input of shipment information into appropriate systems.
- Produce and validate customs data and paperwork to support the achievement of regulatory and internal compliance standards and to ensure timely clearance.
- Ensuring accuracy within a fast-paced goal orientated environment
The ideal candidate will have:
- Fluent in English (B2 – C1) and French (B2 - C1)
- Team player with a can-do attitude.
- Customer focused with excellent communication skills.
- Attention to detail and able to work to tight deadlines.
- Task orientated with good time management.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Able to make independent decisions based on expertise.
- Good Computer skills including Microsoft Office.
- Willing to develop in a multinational/multicultural environment
