Compliance & Regulatory Sr Specialist
Description
The Compliance & Regulatory Sr. Specialist works within the HR Compliance & Regulatory team with a specialized focus and expertise on a specified topic, such as; I-9 and E-Verify; Pre-Employment services and support; US Employment Law and Regulations; and/or Policy Governance. The Compliance and Regulatory Sr. Specialist specializes in the needs of the employment-related topic and ensuring company compliance by monitoring, providing guidance, resolving issues, and providing education. This position works collaboratively with a variety of partners, including HR Centers of Excellence, Legal, and the Business.
Essential Functions
Collaborate and provide front line support and guidance to managers and Human Resources on compliance related topics.
Responds and resolves issues that will require moderate-in-depth research regarding human resources policies and procedures.
Provides administrative support including, but not limited to, auditing and processing various paperwork, forms, records, and data entry.
Provides in-depth HR subject matter knowledge and information.
Works with business areas to assesses potential risks and compliance gaps and remedy any concerns.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of acceptable documentation requirements for work authorization and proof of citizenship
Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
Previous experience working in a corporate office environment and familiarity with office culture
Professional experience utilizing Canva considered a plus
Power BI experience
Minimum Education
Bachelor’s degree/equivalent.
Minimum Experience
Four (4) + years of HR experience to include understanding of HR policies, procedures, as well as Federal, State, and local regulations.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Ability to coordinate and organize multiple functions/activities, meet deadlines, and manage competing priorities.
Excellent verbal and written communication, persuasion, negotiation, conflict resolution and collaboration skills across all levels with the organization.
Advanced computer skills, including experience with Microsoft programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and other HR business systems.

Pay: Memphis, TN Range - $5,662.27/month - $9,342.75/month
Additional Details: This position will be hybrid in Memphis, TN and candidates must live within a 50-mile radius. Employees will be required to work at a FedEx office location several times per week.
