Technical Document Control Coordinator
The Technical Document Control Coordinator is responsible for creating, revising, and maintaining technical quality process documents and records required to meet management standards and quality system requirements. This role also identifies and recommends standards to ensure product compliance with predetermined specifications.
Primary Responsibilities
- Create, edit, and maintain work instructions, process maps, and other internal process control documents.
- Collaborate with department management, product manufacturers, and customers.
- Work with the operations team to implement process improvements and revise work instructions accordingly.
- Participate in quality initiatives such as process analysis and assist in identifying root causes of process issues.
- Document revised processes by identifying the appropriate sequence of events.
- Run reports on previous similar models to gather historical data.
- Communicate effectively—both verbally and in writing—with internal and external customers.
Education / Experience
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Three (3) years of experience in a warehouse environment.
- Experience in document control, revisions, and document maintenance.
- Experience editing and/or authoring SOPs and maintaining training documents.
- WMS experience preferred.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Customer service driven.
- Strong team player.
