Description

Assist with the maintaining and monitoring the insurance procurement process, ensuring proper controls to address organizational risk tolerance.

Essential Functions

  • Assists with maintaining and monitoring the insurance procurement process, ensuring proper controls to address organizational risk tolerance.
  • Assists the manager in the analysis, design and execution of risk transfer programs for the enterprise, including but not limited to captive management, claims tracking and alternative risk financing options.
  • Assists with identifying and assessing market conditions and emerging risks; analyzing and communicating changes to insurance programs.
  • Development of data/analytics, assists in the implementation of procedures, processes and controls of a global insurance program.
  • Assists in the preparation and recommendation of the annual budget providing timely and accurate financial forecasting and reporting of metrics.
  • Other projects as assigned, examples include conducting value-added projects, research, and serving as resource to working groups on topical issues.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education

Bachelor’s Degree/equivalent.

Minimum Experience

Five(5) years of risk management, insurance/brokerage, or finance experience in a corporate environment.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Strong analytical skills with ability to produce concise documents for executive management.

Excellent written and oral communications/presentation and human relations skills.

Strategic thinking skills.

Demonstrate initiative and be solutions-oriented.

Ability to work at a fast pace with strict deadlines and handle multiple projects concurrently.

Preferred Qualifications: Excel Proficiency, MBA is a plus, CPCU and/or ARM designation is a plus, Experience with large, complex risk and large captives a plus

Pay Transparency: This compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary range for this role across all potential locations. If this opportunity includes multiple job levels, the range is a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary for the lowest level to the current starting salary of the highest level. Actual starting pay would be determined by experience relative to the job, market level, pay at the location for this job and other job-related factors permitted by law. An employee may be eligible for additional pay, premiums, or bonus potential. The Company offers eligible employees health, vision and dental insurance, retirement, and tuition reimbursement.

Pay: $5369.60 - $8054.39 per month

Additional Details: The desired locations for this position would be Memphis, TN. This position may be eligible for relocation. Position not eligible for sponsorship.
