Corporate Strategy Analyst
Description
Under general supervision, the Corporate Strategy Analyst will help identify and help develop initiatives that drive the company's growth. The role helps with the analyses of market trends and competitive landscape, and helps identify opportunities and potential risks. These insights help senior management make informed decisions about investments, partnerships / acquisitions, market expansion, and overall business. This role requires an analytical and detail-oriented professional with solid research and communication skills, capable of working collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Essential Functions
- Market and Industry Analysis:
- Help analyze internal and external data to provide insights and recommendations for strategic decision-making.
- Gather data from various sources to generate actionable insights and recommendations. This also involves help financial modeling and forecasting.
- Business Case Development:
- Help evaluate growth opportunities and the economic viability of these initiatives.
- Assist in the development of business cases for strategic initiatives.
- Strategic Planning Support:
- Assist in the development of strategic initiatives.
- Project Support:
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to gather information, track progress, and report on project milestones.
- Performance Monitoring:
- Help develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of strategic initiatives.
- Track and evaluate the performance of implemented strategies and initiatives, adjusting as needed to ensure their success.
- Presentation and Communication:
- Help prepare presentations and reports.
- Research and Benchmarking:
- Stay updated on industry developments, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes that may impact the company's strategy.
Minimum Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
Minimum Experience:
- 1 year of experience in corporate strategy, management consulting, or a related field. Experience in the logistics, transportation, or supply chain industry is a plus
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Analytical Skills: Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize. Familiarity with mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and strategic partnership assessments.
- Communication: Verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and persuasively.
- Project Management: Organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); experience with data analysis tools and financial modeling software is a plus. Knowledge of digital transformation and technology-driven innovation.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Partner closely with Finance, HR and Legal to support planning efforts, optimize workflows, and implement process improvements that increase efficiency, accuracy, and scalability, leveraging AI wherever possible.
- Assist in the development and execution of strategic priorities, culture initiatives, and communications support.
- Support change management efforts related to new processes, systems, or culture.
- Foundational knowledge of accounting principles a plus.
- Collaborative team player with a proactive mindset.
- Adaptable in a fast-paced and evolving environment.

Additional Details: This is a hybrid position located in Collierville, TN or Plano, TX. Candidates must live within 50 miles of the campus location. Employees will be required to work at the FedEx campus location several times per week. Position not eligible for relocation.
