Description
Responsible for the safe, courteous, and efficient operation of company vehicles to deliver and pick up packages. Ensures shipments meet FedEx service standards and features. Provides exceptional customer service during all interactions and acts as a representative of the company at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate company vehicles in a safe and responsible manner at all times.
Deliver and pick up packages accurately and efficiently, meeting daily service commitments.
Verify shipments for accuracy and compliance with FedEx service features and regulations.
Perform customer service duties, including answering inquiries and resolving minor issues.
Maintain logs, reports, and other documentation as required.
Support additional duties or assignments as directed by management.
Prioritize safety in all aspects of the role and adhere to company safety protocols and procedures.
Part Time Courier - Monday - Friday - 300-0900 PM
Minimum Education
High school diploma/GED. Must be licensed for type of vehicle assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Ability to lift 50 lbs. Ability to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs. with appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person. Good human relations and verbal communication skills. Neat appearance since customer contact is required. Must meet qualifications as outlined in section 391 of the Federal Motor Carrier safety regulations. Requires medical exam in accordance with FMCSA or FAA regulations. Non-covered safety-sensitive position. Medical exam required. Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner. Must be at least 21 years of age. Ability to read and speak the English language sufficiently to understand traffic signs, communicate with traffic safety officials and to respond to official inquiries and directions in accordance with FMCSA enforcement guidance.
