This is an interview position
Provides clearance expertise and training to internal and external customers on issues relating to Global Regulatory and FedEx Clearance procedures.
Researches regulatory information to support with the development and implementation of customized clearance solutions. Facilitates the onboarding of new small to medium international customers and researches/elevates at risk accounts for revenue retention. Creates, analyzes and researches
clearance service level reports
Performs root cause analysis of these reports and provides recommendations to internal and external clients to improve regulatory compliance, customer satisfaction and profitability.
Determines and prepares import and export documentation for contracted clients.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
College Diploma or Equivalent
Accreditations/Certifications/Licenses (Preferred)
- Successful completion of Canada Broker Service Agency (CBSA) or Canadian Society of Customs Brokers (CSCB) qualification and the U.S. customs course within 18 months of accepting the position.
- Successful completion of both the Canadian and U.S. customs courses preferred
Customs, Regulatory, Trade & Compliance - 2 years
- Experience of logistics operations, systems, policies and procedures in a customs environment
Microsoft Word - Intermediate
Microsoft Excel - Intermediate
Microsoft Power Point - Intermediate
IMS - (Preferred)
COSMOS - (Preferred)
Knowledge of customs regulations and procedures including international shipping and document requirements
