Cyber Security Advisor

Description

Creates cyber-intelligence solutions to prevent internal or external attacks or attempts to infiltrate company email, data, e-commerce and web-based systems. Implements and supports technologies deployed across application, network/perimeter, data, endpoint, identity & access, and mobility domains. Develops and implements enterprise security solutions to mitigate information systems risks and vulnerabilities, configuring and analyzing security tools and software. Research attempted or successful efforts to compromise systems security and designs countermeasures. Coordinates with IT and end users to minimize disruptions and protect assets. Provides information security recommendations to management in support of business strategies and goals. Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or equivalent* in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field plus 6 years of experience in the job offered or 6 years of experience in a minimum of 4 of the following areas: Business continuity and disaster recovery, network forensics, security and risk frameworks, endpoint security, information systems auditing, vendor risk assessment, cyber risk assessment, network intrusion detection/prevention, identity and access management, IT lifecycle management. The employer will alternatively accept a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field plus 4 years of experience in the job offered or 4 years of experience in a minimum of 4 of the following areas: Business continuity and disaster recovery, network forensics, security and risk frameworks, endpoint security, information systems auditing, vendor risk assessment, cyber risk assessment, network intrusion detection/prevention, identity and access management, IT lifecycle management, in lieu of a Bachelor's degree plus 6 years of experience. Must have experience with the following: Software Development in Full Stack technologies including Java / J2EE, Javascript programming languages with Springboot and Angular / REACT Framework; Database Management Systems - SQL and NOSQL Databases. Ex: Oracle, MySQL, MongoDB, Graph DB, BigQuery; System administration - Unix/Linux Operating Systems; DevOps and Cl/CD with tools such as Jenkins, GitHub/GitLab, Maven/Gradle and Nexus; Cloud Native application development including Pivotal Cloud Foundry; analytical and scripting languages (Ex: Python, Perl); ETL tools like Abinitio/SQL Loader. Strong technical, consulting, and project management skills. Ability to communicate technical subject matter effectively to multiple organizational layers. Position allows for telecommuting from home within commuting distance of Collierville, TN.
