Provides leadership in creating cyber-intelligence solutions to prevent internal or external attacks or attempts to infiltrate company email, data, e-commerce and web-based systems.

The Fraud Oversight team leverages best-in-class identity technologies, large amounts of logs & data, advanced algorithms to identify and mitigate financial risk to FedEx or our customers. This principal role will: 1- champion Secure-by-Design principals to design and build commercial solutions that balance risk & security with customer experience; 2- lead complex cyber intelligence engineering & orchestration via cloud & hybrid environment; 3-provide expertise in forensic investigations and support legal actions; 4- Evaluate and implementation of 3rd party identity proofing and modern authentication solutions from proof of concept to fully tested production environment; 5- architect risk remediation solution that plugs into various enterprise platforms (fedex.com, API, WS and operational technologies); 6- effectively communicate and represent the org to a broad range of audiences and executives. 

Essential Functions

Provide expertise and leadership at the enterprise level related to

  • An expert understanding of fraud industry trends is necessary to develop actionable insights and recommendations.
  • In-depth understanding of FedEx's commercial technology stack and operational technologies
  • Intelligence and data engineering leveraging Enterprise Ingestion Framework to persist data in structured, semi-structured, and unstructured in Co-Lo and multi-Cloud platforms
  • Leads staff in descriptive, prescriptive, and investigative analysis - link analysis and find root-cause
  • Coordinate Blue/Red/ Purple team hunting exercise
  • Translate complex business situations to executable solutions and communicate results to a broad range of audiences.
  • Experience in leading cross-functional teams to execute results - Routinely work on multiple highly complex assignments.
  • Experienced in with one of these languages – Python, Scala, Java, and UNIX based environments.

Minimum Education

Bachelor's degree/Equivalent in computer science, information systems and/or equivalent formal training.

Minimum Experience

Five (5+) years of experience in IT information security.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • CISSP certified
  • Azure certified
  • Risk Management experience preferred
  • Understanding of FedEx operations and commercial platforms

Domicile Information:

This position can be domiciled anywhere in the United States. The ability to work remotely within the United States may be available based on business needs.

Preferred Qualifications:  

Pay Transparency: This compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary range for this role across all potential locations. If this opportunity includes multiple job levels, the range is a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary for the lowest level to the current starting salary of the highest level. Actual starting pay would be determined by experience relative to the job, market level, pay at the location for this job and other job-related factors permitted by law. An employee may be eligible for additional pay, premiums, or bonus potential. The Company offers eligible employees health, vision and dental insurance, retirement, and tuition reimbursement.

Pay: U.S Pay Range: $9,208.38 - $14,413.11 (Monthly)
