This is an interview position.
To ensure the proper acceptance, storage, handling, loading of dangerous goods and the correctness and retention of related documents required by legislation and Fedex policy. To handle spills of dangerous goods and respond to questions from staff and customers on the handling of dangerous goods. To provide awareness training to other staff.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
High school/equivalent
Six months FedEx experience preferred
Ability to type 25 wpm
Ability to complete and maintain all dangerous goods certifications
Knowledge of dangerous goods handling, labeling and documentation requirements
Ability to complete all basic and recurrency training
Good human relations and communications skills
Must have the ability to lift 70 lbs & manoeuvre any package weighing up to 150 lbs with appropriate equipment
Must possess a valid G license & have a good driving record

Additional Details: Shift Details: Tuesday- Friday 1800 – 0030 and Saturday 1500 - 2130 **subject to change based on operational needs.
