Description
Designs and implements advanced processes and analytics associated with a wide variety of data sets used for data/text mining, analysis, and prediction to enable informed business decisions.
Essential Responsibilities
- Gains insight into key business problems and deliverables by applying highly technical analysis techniques analysis techniques to examine structured and unstructured data from multiple disparate Sources.
- Provides insight from initial concept to fully tested production and communicates results to a broad range of audiences.
- Effectively uses current and emerging technologies to evaluate trends and develop actionable insights and recommendations to management, via understanding of the business model and the information available for analysis.
- Typically uses data, statistical and quantitative analysis, basic modeling, and fact-based management to drive decision making.
- Mentors less senior staff.
- Works in cross functional projects and programs.
- Routinely presents to management.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Additional Responsibilities
- Analyze customer data and interactions, market data and conditions to identify opportunities, develop actionable insights and recommendations to drive the development and execution of LTL strategies.
- Drive continuous improvement in data analysis methods and processes.
- Leads development and implementation of marketing, sales, and all other activities, as needed, to achieve the necessary business outcomes.
- Leads needed market, economic, and competitive evaluations that affect product performance.
Minimum Education
Bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science, or a quantitative discipline such as mathematics, engineering, operations research, economics or finance.
Minimum Experience
Seven (7) years of experience in measurement and analysis, quantitative business problem-solving, operations analysis, marketing analysis, simulation development and/or predictive analytics.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Superior analytical skills with diverse analytics and statistical software and applications. Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills. Proven leadership skills.
Preferred Qualifications: Extensive experience with SQL/other data query languages, plus complex queries/optimization. Superior knowledge of LTL competitive, market and economic factors affecting performance and ability to perform fact-based data analysis. Expert comms and presentation skills, quantitative, problem structuring and solving skills. Strong project management. Strong SQL, AI, data mining and acquisition. Expertise in business intelligence reporting tools for advanced data analysis and visualization for LTL.
Pay Transparency: This compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary range for this role across all potential locations. If this opportunity includes multiple job levels, the range is a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary for the lowest level to the current starting salary of the highest level. Actual starting pay would be determined by experience relative to the job, market level, pay at the location for this job and other job-related factors permitted by law. An employee may be eligible for additional pay, premiums, or bonus potential. The Company offers eligible employees health, vision and dental insurance, retirement, and tuition reimbursement.
Pay: U.S. Pay Range: $7,094.23-$12,533.14/month. Colorado: $7,094.23-$12,010.93/month. New York: $7,488.36-$12,533.14/month. New York City: $9,064.85-$12,533.14/month. Memphis, TN: $7,488.36-$9,922.07/month. Harrison, AR: $7,094.23-$9,399.85/month.
Additional Details: Position will be remote excluding AK, HI and US territories with desired locations in Memphis, TN, or Harrison, AR. Depending on your location, you may be required to work at a FedEx Campus location several times per week. (E27)
