Summary:

Under close supervision, designs and implements processes and solutions associated with a wide variety of data sets used for data/text mining, analysis to support informed business decisions. Gains insight into key business and deliverables by examining structured and unstructured data from multiple disparate sources. With guidance, effectively uses current and emerging technologies to evaluate trends and develop actionable insights and recommendations to management, via the information available for analysis. Learning to use data, statistical and quantitative analysis, to drive decision making.

Job Description / Responsibilities:

  • This position will support the FedEx Dataworks Strategy and Engagement Office by providing Operational and Organizational Health insights, reporting, and analytics for the broader Data, Digital, and Commercial Technologies organization.
  • Success in this role will be dependent on the ability to curate insights from a mix of data sources and tools, use logic to connect data elements, and deliver a mix of decision analytics dashboards spanning a level of detail from tactical program management users to Senior Leadership.
  • The successful candidate will work with an immediate, as well as a broader team of more senior Data Analysts and Strategy Leads to influence, assess, and measure value-generating strategic initiatives for the organization.

Domicile Information: 

This position can be domiciled anywhere in the United States. The ability to work remotely within the United States may be available based on business need. 

Minimum Education

Bachelor's degree

Minimum Experience

One (1) Year in information systems, computer science, or a quantitative discipline such as mathematics, engineering, operations research, economics or Finance. Demonstrated knowledge gained through course work or work experience in measurement and analysis, quantitative business problem solving, operations analysis, marketing analysis, simulation development and/or predictive analytics. Proficient in analytics software and applications. Good Interpersonal skills. Good written and oral communication skills.


Preferred Qualifications:  

Pay Transparency: This compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary range for this role across all potential locations. If this opportunity includes multiple job levels, the range is a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary for the lowest level to the current starting salary of the highest level. Actual starting pay would be determined by experience relative to the job, market level, pay at the location for this job and other job-related factors permitted by law. An employee may be eligible for additional pay, premiums, or bonus potential. The Company offers eligible employees health, vision and dental insurance, retirement, and tuition reimbursement.

Pay: Annual Range $54,240 - $81,360
