Description

The .NET Full Stack Engineer will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and maintaining enterprise business applications across multiple technology stacks. The role involves working with both legacy and modern .NET Framework and .NET to build scalable and reliable applications.

The engineer will design and maintain APIs, develop full-stack solutions, manage databases, and ensure the stability of application environments across on-premises and cloud infrastructure. The role also includes building lightweight applications using Streamlit, automating tasks using Python, and monitoring application health using observability tools such as Splunk and Datadog.

Additionally, the engineer will actively contribute to DevOps practices including source control management, CI/CD pipelines, code promotion across environments, and maintaining high standards through peer code reviews.

    Application Development & Maintenance

  • Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using .NET Framework and modern .NET technologies.
  • Build and enhance full-stack web applications including backend services and user interfaces.
  • Frontend: Expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript, React/Angular, HTML/CSS.
  • Proficiency in Node.js, Python, .Net or equivalent technologies.
  • Cloud: Strong experience with Azure, or GCP (compute, storage, networking).
  • Testing: Strong knowledge of unit testing, integration testing, and automated testing frameworks.
  • Strong experience in deployment.
  • Modernize legacy applications and improve performance, scalability, and maintainability.
  • Documentation & Change Management: Follow the organizational standard governance with 100% documentation.

 API & Integration Development

  • Design, develop, and maintain RESTful and SOAP-based web services.
  • Ensure secure and scalable API integrations across enterprise systems.
  • Implement API versioning, error handling, and performance optimization.

Database Development & Management

  • Develop and maintain database components using Oracle Database and Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Write optimized SQL queries, stored procedures, and database scripts.
  • Support database performance tuning, debugging, and data validation.

DevOps, CI/CD & Code Management

  • Manage source code repositories using GitHub.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins for automated builds, testing, and deployments.
  • Support DevOps practices, including automated build processes, release management, and environment configuration.
  • Manage code promotions across environments (Dev, QA, UAT, Production) ensuring deployment consistency and governance.
  • Participate in peer code reviews to maintain coding standards, security compliance, and application quality.

Infrastructure & Environment Support

  • Support & maintain applications which are hosted on Windows servers and cloud environments.
  • Manage application deployments, runtime configurations, and environment dependencies.
  • Monitor system performance and ensure high availability of business applications.
  • Server & disk management.

Application Monitoring & Log Management

  • Implement monitoring and log analysis using Splunk and Datadog.
  • Create dashboards and alerts to track application performance and system health.
  • Troubleshoot incidents through log analysis and root cause investigation.

Python & Streamlit Development

  • Develop internal tools, dashboards, or automation utilities using Python and Streamlit.
  • Build lightweight data-driven applications for reporting, analytics, or operational insights.
  • Integrate Python-based tools with enterprise systems where required.

Troubleshooting & Continuous Improvement

  • Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for application and system issues.
  • Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure, DevOps, and database teams for continuous improvements.

Experience Level: 5+ Years (Overall Software Engineering), 5+ Years in .Net & 3+ years in Oracle

Technical Expertise

  • Strong debugging, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
  • Strong experience in .NET Framework and modern .NET (.NET Core / .NET) development.
  • Full-stack development experience includes web applications and backend services.
  • Expertise in REST and SOAP web services development and maintenance.
  • Strong knowledge of Oracle and SQL Server databases.
  • Experience with GitHub-based version control and Jenkins CI/CD pipelines.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices including automated deployments and code promotions.
  • Experience with Python scripting and Streamlit-based applications.
  • Familiarity with Windows server administration and cloud-based application hosting.
  • Hands-on experience with Splunk and Datadog for log monitoring and observability.
  • Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
  • Software Engineering Best Practices: Strong grasp of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), version control (Git), automated testing (pytest), and secure coding standards.
  • Frontend: Expertise in Streamlit, JavaScript/TypeScript, React/Angular, HTML/CSS.
  • Programming: Proficiency in Node.js, React.js, Python, .Net or equivalent technologies.
  • Testing: Strong knowledge of unit testing, integration testing, and automated testing frameworks.

Communication

  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Track record of managing end-to-end project lifecycles, ensuring timely and quality delivery.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the digital transformation ecosystem (e.g., App development, Automation, AI/ML, Power Platform, Power BI, or real-time analytics).
  • Experience in enterprise application modernization initiatives.
  • Exposure to microservices architecture and cloud-native deployments.
  • Experience working in large-scale production support environments.
  • Exposure with AI/ML & Agentic AI integration or workflow automation tools.
  • Knowledge of enterprise security best practices.
  • Prior experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
