Data Analyst - Senior (Learning Analytics)
Description
Responsible for conducting data analysis to extract actionable insights, exploring datasets to uncover patterns and anomalies, analyzing historical data for trend identification and forecasting, investigating data discrepancies, providing user training and support on data analysis tools, communicating findings through compelling visualizations, supporting data projects, and ensuring data accuracy and integrity.

FedEx Learning Analytics and Technology provides measurement and evaluations of learning solutions to ensure ongoing quality, relevancy, and business impact.
The current role is responsible for designing and implementing processes and data analytics in support of a Global Commercial Education team. This position uses data/text analysis to drive decision making.
What your main responsibilities are
Essential Functions:
1. Effectively analyze data, identify trends and patterns, and provide insights that can help drive business decisions.
2. Collaborate with diverse group of stakeholders to understand their data needs and effectively translate those needs into business requirements for reports and dashboards.
3. Strong strategic problem solver who can learn and understand education metrics and develop connectivity across key themes.
4. Gains insight into key business problems and deliverables by applying technical analysis techniques to examine structured and unstructured data from multiple disparate Sources
5. Proficient use of current and emerging statistical analysis technologies to evaluate trends and develop actionable insights and recommendations to management.
6. Integrate and apply innovative data driven techniques and methods across the business to effectively tell the story of data and reports.
7. Designs and implements reporting dashboards and other visualizations that track and visually communicate key business metrics and provide actionable insights.
Key Priorities & Goals for the first year in role :
1. Statistical analysis of survey data to identify business impacts and insights
2. SQL development work to query global data aligned with defined metrics
3. Analysis reporting through data visualizations to clearly communicate the results of the learning programs
What we are looking for
Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, MIS, Mathematics, Statistics, or similar discipline. Master's degree or PhD preferred.
Relevant work experience as in data analysis based on the following number of years:
Standard I: Two (2) years
Standard II: Three (3) years
Senior I: Four (4) years
Senior II: Five (5) years
