Description

Design and implement processes and solutions associated with a wide variety of data sets used for data/text mining, analysis to support informed business decisions. Gain insight into key business and deliverables by examining structured and unstructured data from multiple disparate sources. Effectively use current and emerging technologies to evaluate trends and develop actionable insights and recommendations to management, via the information available for analysis. Learn to use data, statistical and quantitative analysis, to drive decision making.

Job Description Summary

The Analyst will collaborate with global stakeholders to execute, validate, audit, and monitor revenue management/pricing strategies for FedEx's strategic customers—analysing large datasets for recommendations, creating decision-making visibility through compelling visualizations, and driving process improvements for better customer experience.

Demonstrate understanding of core business concepts (financial metrics, market dynamics, competitive landscapes, pricing models, revenue/cost structures, margins, P&L). Communicate results effectively to diverse audiences using current/emerging technologies.

What your main responsibilities are:

• Collect, clean, and analyse large datasets to implement business rules.
• Assist in developing data-driven strategies and recommendations for business decisions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of data quality and analytics processes.
• Ensure aligning with regions for timely, accurate, quality checked setup of discounts and pricing transition to FedEx Pricing systems and relevant tools.
• Transform, optimize Pricing processes for improved efficiency, reduced turnaround times and human intervention through process automation.

Education
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, MIS, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related discipline.

Experience

• 2-4 years of experience as a Data Analyst or similar role.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Proficient in SQL, SAS and Python, Data Visualization tool e.g. Power BI
• Strong analytical skills with an eye for detail, to deliver accurate results and actionable recommendation.
• Good understanding on pricing models/systems, revenue & cost structures, contribution & operating margins, and P&L views
• Collaborate effectively (Stakeholder Management) with team members across different regions to achieve common goals, effective communication skills to communicate with people across all levels including senior management.
