-BeLux responsibility being a primary interface between our BeLux Integrated Facilities Management suppliers and the Facility Management team with the local operations teams in the Belux.

What you will be doing:
 

The Facility Maintenance Specialist position in Belux, key responsibility is to support our team for all Hard & Soft Service aspects, as part of facilities management. All assets are being maintained, according to standards, to maximize asset life, optimize performance, minimize unplanned disruption to the FedEx business operations and to add all statutory compliance legislation and industry guidelines / requirements. Ensuring all locations have the required SLA’s in place to meet expectations on soft services categories where applicable (catering, cleaning, hospitality, vending, landscaping, waste, pest control, Health & Safety, branding & signage, furniture).

Advice and support the Facility Management team in The Belux region, on a tactical level, in terms of scope changes, changes in law, projects (small refurbishments, moves, preventive maintenance plans, industry best practices)



What do you bring with you:

  • Engineering Management experience, and track record of delivering performance/service improvement with strong customer focus.

  • Experience of successfully delivering against contractual targets, PM schedules and KPI’s.

  • Experience of delivering a service provision on a site where strong permit to work systems are in place.

  • Asset Management experience covering administrative, contractual, and financial aspects of a facilities management contract. 

  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office.

  • Knowledge of IFM Administrative Tool is preferable

  • Excellent, clear, and confident written skills, presentation skills and report writing. In Dutch and Englisch

  • Travel throughout Belux

  • Strong analytical Skills, accuracy & attention to details

  • Strong planning & organizational skills

  • The ability to present complicated issues in a structured and simple manner

  • Very good judgement and reasoning ability with experience of evaluating maintenance versus operational requirements and determining the need and priority

  • Experienced in defining and specifying performance expectations in contractual processes and then using them to manage supplier performance

  • Profound knowledge of mechanical and electrical principles and practices

  • Profound knowledge of maintenance requirements related to material handling systems, facility equipment and FM services

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (Dutch and English)

  • Highly engaged and self-motivated individual

  • Ability to work individually or as part of a team
