We are hiring a Digital Marketing Advisor GEO/SEO for fedex.com, office.fedex.com, and local.fedex.com. The role sets strategy, drives execution, and elevates GEO/SEO maturity. You will partner closely with Web & Digital teams (.com), Product, Go To Market, IT, Analytics, and regional teams to advance content and technical SEO, local SEO, and AI driven search readiness globally
Key Responsibilities
Define and execute GEO/SEO strategy for US domains, ensuring the channel drives measurable business and revenue impact.
Lead FedEx’s readiness for AI‑driven search (AI Overviews, LLM answer engines) by driving experimentation and signal detection, and by guiding cross‑functional teams (Digital PR, Brand, Content, Product, .com, Engineering) in the initiatives, prioritization, and roadmap decisions required to strengthen FedEx’s authority and visibility across AI search experiences.
Work together with the Global SEO team to define and steer Technical SEO direction, ensuring site health, discoverability, performance, and scalable patterns aligned with long‑term strategy.
Partner with regional teams to align global SEO strategy and support international SEO frameworks (hreflang, duplication control, language/country logic).
Identify and prioritize high‑value opportunities that improve revenue contribution and task completion across key journeys.
Translate GEO/SEO strategy into measurable commercial outcomes by linking organic visibility to revenue, customer acquisition, cost‑efficiency, and task completion, ensuring the channel operates as a predictable and accountable growth lever.
Provide coaching, playbooks, templates, and guidance that uplift GEO/SEO maturity across global teams.
Establish measurement foundations (brand vs non‑brand, conversion mix including account registrations & shipments) and clearly articulate channel performance and commercial impact.
Required Qualifications
5–10+ years (enterprise) SEO experience.
Strong learning agility and curiosity around emerging AI‑driven search experiences.
Deep SEO expertise with the ability to translate strategy into clear execution requirements.
Strong analytical skills.
Project management experience.
Experience with Adobe LLM Optimizer, Conductor, SEMrush.
Knowledge of schema.org and Knowledge Graph.
Python/SQL for analysis (preferred).
Global or multi‑location experience (preferred).
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree; fluent English.

Minimum Education
Bachelor's Degree/equivalent experience in marketing, finance, computer science, engineering or related business discipline.
Minimum Experience
Five (5) years experience in a digital marketing or digital product management environment or demonstrated knowledge gained through coursework or work experience in digital product marketing, management, or technology support.
More advanced degrees may offset experience requirements. A related Master’s Degree equals two (2) years experience.

Additional Details: This position will be hybrid in Plano, TX and candidates must live within a 50 mile radius. This position is hybrid, meaning employees will be required to work at a FedEx Campus location four times per week.
