Digital Marketing / Mgr Product Analytics
Description
Leads analytics across a product line or capability area, managing/mentor a team of analysts, ensuring consistent frameworks, quality, and strategic focus, working across project managers, engineers, and executives to drive decision-making through data.
Essential Functions
Oversees analytics for multiple product teams or an entire journey (e.g., checkout, onboarding, platform)
Leads cross-team initiatives like KPI alignment, event taxonomy, or cohort frameworks
Manages a small team of analysts or serves as a horizontal analytics lead across squads
Owns data strategy and measurement plans for major launches or portfolio initiatives
Partners with Product Ops and Product leadership to influence prioritization, sequencing, and investment
Preferred Qualifications:
Proven track record of developing, executing, and scaling a world-class digital analytics strategy.
Experience managing, mentoring, and developing a team of digital data professionals into thought leaders.
Demonstrated ability to partner with cross-functional teams, effectively communicating complex findings and translating them into actionable, data-driven recommendations that drive business results.
Proficiency in conducting complex statistical and quantitative analysis.
Advanced data modeling, SQL experience and hands-on expertise with the Adobe ecosystem (e.g., Adobe Analytics). Experience in the collection, analysis, and visualization of digital data from multiple sources, including deep proficiency with data visibility tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker) to create and maintain best-in-class dashboards and reports.
Demonstrated ability to optimize data workflows and significantly improve speed-to-insights for the organization.
A strong commitment to staying current on emerging analytics trends and technologies, coupled with a proven interest or experience in exploring and implementing machine learning (ML) models and Artificial Intelligence (AI).
Minimum Education
Bachelor’s degree in business or related field. In lieu of a degree, nine (9) years of practical experience may offset education requirements.
Minimum Experience
Five (5) years in product analytics, business intelligence, data science, or related field. Experience managing analysts or leading through dotted-line structures.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Strong leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and communication skills. Track record of delivering insights that shaped roadmap, GTM, or customer experience decisions. Background in SaaS, eCommerce, or multi-platform digital environments.
Job Conditions
Some business travel may be required.
