What you will be doing:

Advisor: Involves providing unique, high impact, technical or expert advice to directors or officers within a region or internationally.

Advisors work with Managers, MDs, VPs or SVPs as required:

  • Application Development International;

  • Information Security International;

  • Application Development;

  • Regional IT;

  • Architecture and Application Development International;

  • Requirements Gathering & Documentation;

  • Software Testing;

  • Solutions Recommendation;

  • Project Leadership;

  • Business Process Analysis;

  • Test Script Development & Execution;

  • Development Process Document Drafting & Review (FedEx Global Development Process);

  • Business Model Development & Maintenance;

  • Future Deliverables Scoping and Impact Analysis; Mentoring

Develops and maintains broad and in-depth knowledge of relevant FedEx standards, external requirements (including US/ EMEA regulations), and current/emerging system trends and best practices within area of expertise. Provides strategic advice on complex or unique issues. Develops new or innovative solutions to diverse, high impact, complex problems. Conducts detailed analysis and wider research, interprets complex information and generates recommendations to support strategic, divisional or corporate goals. Develops initiatives, proposals and business cases within area of expertise. Acts as subject matter expert and shares knowledge with peers and management.

Experience advising and leading large scale application transformation and modernisation in a global environment highly desirable. Strong program management and stakeholder management skills needed.
