Job description
We are seeking a FedEx Senior Sales Solutions Analyst to deliver high-impact analysis and strategic recommendations that drive sales strategies and empower executive leadership with data-driven decision-making. In this role, you will:

Key responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth analyses to identify customer needs and recommend tailored solutions that align with sales strategies.
- Design and propose revenue-generating initiatives, including sales variable compensation plans, customer segmentation frameworks, and optimized sales structure and staffing models, based on robust research, data modeling, and impact analysis.
- Develop innovative tools, models, and processes to enhance organizational decision-making and operational effectiveness.
- Simplify and present complex insights using compelling visualizations and narratives, enabling executive leadership to navigate intricate decision-making processes with confidence.
- Translate strategic decisions from executive leadership into actionable programs; collaborate across teams to implement solutions, provide training, and monitor outcomes.
- Oversee projects from inception to completion, employing structured methodologies to ensure timely delivery of milestones, alignment with objectives, and measurable success.
The ideal candidate will have
- Educational Background: A university degree in Business, Finance, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
- Professional Experience: 4+ years of experience in analytics, with a track record of handling complex data and delivering actionable insights.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in SQL, coding, and advanced Excel.
- Experience with tools like Power BI and a strong willingness to master new applications, such as Alteryx.
- Analytical Acumen: Confidence in managing large datasets, conducting detailed analysis, and deriving logical conclusions.
- Results Orientation: A commercially aware mindset, driven to achieve impactful results.
- Conceptual Thinking: Strong ability to think strategically and structure complex problems.
- Communication Skills:
- Ability to present complex topics effectively to diverse stakeholders, both in person and virtually.
- Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
- Sales Process Expertise: Hands-on experience in areas such as:
- Customer segmentation and sales portfolio design.
- Sales role and coverage definition.
- Sales staffing modeling.
- Sales variable compensation strategy.
- Project and Leadership Experience:
- Proven ability to independently manage strategic projects that require thought leadership.
- Experience working with executives to navigate complex decision-making processes.
- Expertise in integration projects resulting from mergers and acquisitions (M&A).
