What you will be doing:
We’re searching for a highly qualified Advisor for the Revenue Services organisation to work closely with our senior manager team. From Day 1, this person will have an immediate impact on our productivity by streamlining strategic initiatives, overseeing program management, and communicating objectives to departments. The ideal candidate will have proven success in a business management role, with a special focus on executive-level advising and interdepartmental collaboration. This person will join a team of 4 Advisors that will be responsible of Incident & Escalation management, process and quality management, knowledge management and IT & Systems management.
Objectives to this role:
· Oversee strategic business initiatives, from development through successful execution, under the guidance of senior leadership and department heads
· Assist and communicate with management in decision-making, program management, and initiative implementation
· Review, design, and execute improvements to organizational structure; find knowledge and skills gaps and help address them
· Improve current processes and optimize organizational procedures for efficiency and productivity
Responsibilities:
· Teaming up with senior managers to chalk out and prioritize strategic business moves.
· Guiding department Senior Managers with expert advice to enhance overall team efficiency.
· Keeping meetings focused and planning and coordinating them effectively.
· Track the key performance indicators and provide guidance to senior managers on how to improve performance.
· Providing hands-on support to transform ideas into reality and monitor their progress.
· Steering strategic business initiatives from genesis to fruition.
· Pinpointing and addressing core issues within business processes.
· Presenting the Vice Presidents and Managing Directors with detailed company operations analysis.
· Evaluating risk factors when making critical business decisions.
· Leading meetings and workshops with meticulous planning and coordination.
· Identifying areas of improvement across the organization and making actionable recommendations.
· Oversee daily operations in collaboration with senior managers and department leaders, and perform administrative tasks such as managing calendars, generating correspondence, maintaining hard copies and electronic files, planning and coordinating annual corporate meetings, and scheduling facilities
· Develop and build on relationships with all employees for increased efficiency and responsiveness of existing operations, and help define new operational strategies by working with senior managers and Managing Directors on special projects
· Serve as a subject-matter expert, handling inquiries, developing action plans, and assisting with preparation and dissemination of communications
What do you bring with you:
· Seven or more years of experience in a business management or executive role
· Experience in organizing and directing multiple teams and departments
· Experience in planning and leading strategic initiatives
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
