Our Undergraduate/Postgraduate scheme is open and we’re looking to enhance our teams by taking on individuals who can share their innovation, enthusiasm, and drive in specific business areas. Our teams are pivotal to the success of FedEx in delivering the Purple Promise, collecting/ sorting and delivering parcels across the globe. This placement will see you support our Health and safety team across Europe with digital automation initiatives. Within the 6-12 months you will have exposure and take responsibility for many projects, task will include:

• Looking at opportunities for cost efficiency and support functional teams in executing the required changes.
• Engaging with locations across the region to plan and execute positive safety change.
• Project coordination and support of our integration execution, Region specific projects and innovation.
• Giving sponsors and key stakeholders accurate and timely information to enable them to effectively steer the change and keep us on track to deliver our targets.
• Offering ideas, new approaches and ways to tackle challenges within a country or specific locations.
• Offering a valuable “external” viewpoint in discussions and brainstorming sessions
• Data analysis and dashboard creation.


Skills and experience we are looking for:

• To be studying for an Engineering, Business, Mathematics, Economics or Logistics based degree that offers a placement year opportunity.
• Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) skills.
• Strong PowerBI, Powerautomate skills
• To be able to demonstrate strong communication skills.
• Can work using own initiative.
• Have strong organisation skills with high levels of attention to detail.
• Be able to think analytically and process data and information.
• The ability to work effectively with different stakeholder groups.
