Electronic Technician I
The Electronic Technician I is responsible for setting up, configuring, troubleshooting, and repairing production test systems and products to the system level. This role provides technical support and feedback to the production team while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
Primary Responsibilities
- Use, set up, configure, and calibrate test equipment such as soldering tools, oscilloscopes, and related devices.
- Troubleshoot and repair products down to the component level.
- Read and understand schematics.
- Collaborate with Quality Control to ensure proper setup and calibration of products.
- Work with OEMs to obtain New Product Information (NPI) and resolve design or testing issues.
- Understand and utilize the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Train and implement processes within the assigned department.
- Perform work safely and in accordance with company and customer standards and safety regulations.
Education / Experience
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 0–2 years of relevant experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
- Prior experience with WMS preferred.
- Familiarity with PC hardware configuration, including Windows OS and LAN setup.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Customer service driven.
- Strong team player.
