Electronics Technician III
Description
Shift: Flexible hours between the hours of 7:00am-5:30pm, Monday-Friday
Location: Distribution Parkway, Collierville, TN
General Summary
Responsible for escalated troubleshooting and the repair of various electronic devices including hardware, software and peripheral components.
Primary Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and the repair of various electronic devices including hardware, software and peripheral components.
- Provide guidance and leadership to lower-level Technicians.
- Load and verify correct operation of software packages including operating systems.
- Provide depot technical support to internal and third-party organizations.
- Provide reporting and failure trend information to the Lead and/or Manager.
- Assists with training of lower-level technicians.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education/Experience
- Associate degree or equivalent.
- Four (4) years of experience in technical support or a technical repair environment required.
- Knowledge Skills and Abilities
- Must exhibit promptness and attention to detail.
- Contributes to a safe working environment.
- Ability to work in a self-directed work environment.
- Ability to maintain industry certification as required.
- Ability to perform the spill clean-up function as required.
- Ability to read and understand operative manuals and work instructions.
Physical/Cognitive Requirements

- Ability to use hands to manipulate, handle, or feel.
- Ability to sit/walk/stand for up to 8 hours per day.

- Must possess visual acuity, i.e., close, distance, and color vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
- Ability to lift/carry items less than 50 pounds.
