This is an interview position.
Provides employee relations support, guidance and counsel to both management and employees fostering consistent and fair people practices to specific workgroups (approx 400 - 600 employees). Facilitates the problem-solving process of employee relations’ issues with varying degrees of complexity, internal investigations, performance, etc. while enabling a highly motivated, engaged workforce in a union free environment.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Bachelor's degree/equivalent
Certificate in Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) or ability to successfully complete within 12 months of hire required
Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) preferred
Minimum number of years required for entry to this job - 2 years
Familiarity with Canada Labour Code, Human Rights Legislation
In the province of Quebec, must be bilingual (French and English)
Basic level proficiency in MS-Office

Additional Details: This position is posted at three levels: NC440- Associate ER Rep, NC441 - ER Rep and NC442 - Senior ER Rep. The position will be offered at either level depending on the experience and skillsets of the successful candidate. Job end date - 05/13/2025.
