Engineering Specialist Advisor
Description
Under limited supervision, will perform configuration management, system administration, security administration, network administration, development system implementation, and/or production system implementation. Responds to issues related to environment, hardware systems, software systems, and implements resolution across technology areas. Supports multiple systems simultaneously, provides leadership for large project efforts. Provides support, or will lead activities related to change management and/or project management. Provides mentoring for the development of less senior staff. Perform other duties as assigned.
Special Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent * in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or related field plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or 5 years of qualifying work experience in information technology or engineering environment. The employer will alternatively accept a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or related field plus 3 years of experience in the job offered or 3 years of qualifying work experience in information technology or engineering environment in lieu of a Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of experience. The position requires experience with: TIBCO Spotfire Administration. TIBCO Data Virtualization (TDV) Administration. TIBCO Spotfire Development. Power BI Administration. Power BI Development. Platform support including patching, upgrades, of both On-Prem hosted and Azure Cloud Hosted BI-Infrastructure. Okta identity and access management. Knowledge of configuration management, system administration, security administration, network administration, development system implementation, and production system implementation. A related advanced degree may offset the experience requirements. Position allows for telecommuting from home within commuting distance of Collierville, TN. *Employer will accept one (1) year of directly related experience in lieu of one (1) year of education.*
