Descripción
Promote company’s products and services over the counter to customers to achieve sales goals and objectives as well as to leverage customer experience and the profitability of the ship centers
• Promotes company’s products, services and packaging material to the customers over the counter or on the phone, identifying their business needs, offering information, options and appropriate recommendations to support their requests providing an outstanding customer experience following sales goals, leveraging the customer experience and the profitability of the ship centers.
• Process information and support management to run reports using company’s systems and internal controls to monitor daily sales, cash validation, volume and other related information of the retail sales processes and results.
• Follow established procedure for closing counter and cash. (Print reports, reconcile packages and money, cash recap, make scans and prepare the deposit), (Closeout includes envelope preparation)
• Collaborates with the fulfillment of the budget, income / expenses, in addition to supporting to optimize the profitability of the Ship Center with the optimization of the resources.
• Keep Retail Coordinator and/or Manager updated regarding daily activities results and major issues.
• Comply with auditing and management requests regarding safety, first aid kits, ship center maintenance, etc. (Such as PCI, Retail Inventory).
• Provides a variety of services over the counter to assist customers with their inquiries and needs, such as tracking, checking and/or storage packages, verifying proper labeling, wrapping, insurance values, special requirements for hazardous material shipment and compliance with customs documentation.
• Perform other tasks requested by management to support the operation of the ship center, such as keeping the work area clean, opening and closing the branch, supporting clients in the loading and unloading of shipments, reconciling and scanning packages, checking the furniture and work supplies.
• Check/monitor the availability and request the necessary packaging materials and other supplies.
• Basic skills in using computer/technology e.g. scanner /printer / intranet etc. with the ability to perform basic maintenance tasks.
• Excellent knowledge of company’s products and services, retail sales processes and sales techniques.
• Have the necessary knowledge about the competition and its products.
• Customer oriented, results and service oriented, good listener, excellent interpersonal relationship skills and communication, articulated, problem solving oriented, persuasive, committed, dedicated, organized, attention to details and accuracy. High School Degree/Equivalent - Minimum of 2 years of experience promoting sales of products and services and customer support over the counter in the logistic/transportation segment.
