Description

Job purpose:

The role is to support operational continuity by providing proactive and reactive maintenance tasks of warehouses in southern Germany. This includes Facility Management as well as conveyor systems to ensure high system reliability and deliver best service to our internal and external customers. 

Key responsibilities:

  • Management of technical vendors including defining scope of work, effort requests and invoice management

  • Development of maintenance schedules for technical assets to ensure compliance and availability of technical systems

  • Review of vendor performance based on contracts and service level agreements

  • Management of technical projects to support end-of-life replacement, continuous improvement, as well as green / brown field projects

  • Relationship management with internal customers and technical vendors

  • Cost control related to provided services to keep overview of maintenance budget

Qualifications:

  • Relevant technical education

  • Experience in maintenance management of facilities and / or parcel sort systems

  • Experience in vendor management / procurement

  • Fluent in German and English

  • Good MS Office skills (Outlook; Excel; PowerPoint....)

  • Highly ambitious and self-motivated personality

  • Willingness to travel within southern Germany (travel time 15%-20%)
