Finance Specialist

Summary of Position:
The Finance  Specialist plays a key role in supporting the company’s financial processes by managing accounts receivable and accounts payable activities. The position ensures the timely processing of supplier/vendor payments, collect customer debts, contributes to accurate account reconciliation, and supports the financial stability of the business by collaborating with internal teams and maintaining high levels of accuracy and efficiency. The role requires strong ownership of payment cycles, proactive issue resolution, and continuous communication with stakeholders.

This role requires working afternoon shifts Mon-Fri from: 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM

Requirements:

• High school education (college/university degree is an advantage)
• Knowledge of core finance and accounting procedures
• Conversational to fluent English proficiency (spoken and written)
• Proficient user of MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Experience with accounting systems (e.g., Coda)
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Analytical and process-oriented mindset
• Creative and solution-focused approach
• Strong attention to detail and precision
• Excellent organizational and prioritization skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team
• Compliance with internal policies and financial regulations

Tasks:

• Manage customer accounts to ensure timely and correct payments
• Perform account reconciliation and resolve discrepancies
• Process incoming invoices, prepare them for transfer, and ensure timely supplier payments
• Send payment confirmations and related details to suppliers
• Support cash application by clarifying payment allocations
• Monitor credit release limits and escalate payment risks if needed
• Maintain continuous contact with Operations, Treasury, and other finance teams
• Respond to internal and external queries related to payments and invoices
• Prepare regular finance reports related to credit, collection, and accounts payable
• Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement
• Use financial systems such as Coda or equivalent on a daily basis
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and controls
• Participate in finance-related projects and process enhancement initiatives
• Perform any other duties assigned by the  supervisor
