Financial Accounting Specialist (UAE)

Location: Dubai, UAE

Duration: 6-Month Fixed Term Contract

Are you a guardian of financial integrity with a "bottom-to-top" mastery of the month-end engine?

We are seeking a technically elite Financial Accounting Specialist to support our financial closing processes and drive reporting excellence across our Middle East operations. Based in our Dubai hub, you will be the primary architect of financial accuracy, bridging the gap between raw transactional data and executive-level transparency.

This role requires a high degree of financial acumen and technical savviness, ensuring our 6-month audit and reporting cycle is executed with precision. We need a "plug-and-play" professional who delivers solutions-oriented reporting that directly impacts the bottom line.

What You Will Do

  • Month-End Architecture: Proactively manage the end-to-end month-end closing process, ensuring all accruals, prepayments, and journals are posted with surgical precision and financial lean-ness.
  • Audit Stewardship: Execute indispensable preparation for external audits, examining every layer from ground-level reconciliations to high-level statutory reporting to ensure a "zero-finding" result.
  • Compliance Leadership: Align UAE financial processes with IFRS standards and local FTA regulatory requirements (VAT), fostering a culture of transparency and uncompromising accountability.
  • Financial Resilience: Act as a technical consultant to the finance team, identifying and rectifying process inefficiencies to protect the business from reporting volatility.
  • Executive Insight: Translate complex financial datasets and variance analysis into transparent, actionable insights for leadership, ensuring the company remains agile and informed.

What You Will Bring

We need a "Financial Architect" with the technical depth of an auditor and the mindset of an operational excellence leader—someone who understands Dubai’s regulatory nuances as clearly as they understand global IFRS practices.

  • Professional Pedigree: ACA, ACCA, CPA, or CIMA qualified with 1–3 years of post-qualification experience (PQE).
  • Audit & Reporting DNA: Background in financial accounting, year-end audit preparation, and internal controls.
  • Local Mastery: Proven experience operating within the UAE landscape, with a sophisticated understanding of VAT compliance and Dubai business dynamics.
  • Technical Powerhouse: Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables) and familiarity with ERP systems to extract and modify data with ease.
  • Process Engineering: The ability to map complex end-to-end accounting workflows, identifying "bottlenecks" in the month-end close using lean methodologies.

Why Join Us?

Be part of a movement that is redefining financial transparency, ensuring our foundation is as strong as our reach.

  • Driving Innovation: We don’t just record figures; we move the industry forward through integrated financial resilience strategies.
  • Impactful Leadership: Your work directly contributes to the sustainability and financial success of our Dubai operations during a critical 6-month cycle.
  • Global Standards: Use our world-class frameworks to empower local teams and maintain high-standard compliance on a global stage.
