GeneralSummary….

The Financial AnalystII will perform analysis to drive optimal business processes, use and maintainrevenue and cost models to improve productivity, drive program profitabilityand new programs, and participate in month-end closing, accounts reconciliationand reviewing financial statements and reports. The incumbent will participatein preparation of annual budgets and monthly forecasts. He or she will monitorand analyze budget and forecast variances and interact with OperationsDirectors and Managers.

 

This position will beresponsible for…..

  • Uses andmaintains existing cost analysis models to improve productivity and driveprogram profitability, especially for the existing programs.
  • Analyzesfinancial and operational performance, provides concise, relevant explanations,observations and/or recommendations to leadership and executive management.
  • Participates inbudgets and forecasts and monitors and analyzes the variances to budgets andforecasts.
  • Participates inmonth-end closing process, accounts reconciliation and the preparation ofvarious financial statements and reports.
  • Performs analysisto determine trends, estimates, and significant changes, and writes narrativereports explaining findings.
  • Review, approve,and audit invoicing processes to the customer.
  • Takes on specialprojects as needed.
  • Establishespattern of continuous improvement and works with accepted quality guidelines toachieve goals
  • Ensurescompliance with company policy and procedures.

Education/Experience
  • Bachelor’s Degreein related field preferred and 2-4 years of relevant experience.
  • In lieu ofdegree, high school diploma or GED and 4-6 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficient withMicrosoft Office applications.
  • Excellent writtenand verbal communication skills.
  • Customer servicedriven.
  • Strong teamplayer
